Assigning a category

If you have set age & gender rules for categories, then they will get automatically applied to a patient when you add them to the queue.


Patient Category can be assigned while adding a patient to the queue or from the patient details screen.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your kulcare account
  2. Select ‘Manage my Practice’
  3. Make sure you have added a category.
  4. Go to the Queue tab.
  5. Click on the “Add” button.
  6. When you add the patient details, the category will automatically show up in the “Category” field in the form.
  7. If there are no rules set by you, then you can assign an added category in the add form.
  8. Click ‘Add’ when done and the category gets assigned to the patient.

Follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your kulcare account
  2. Select ‘Manage my Practice’
  3. Make sure you have added a category.
  4. Click on a patient’s name either in the Queue tab or in the Patients tab.
  5. Click on the “Patient Details” button.
  6. In the Personal Details section, you will see a field called “Category”.
  7. Here you can remove the assigned categories or assign an added category.
  8. Click ‘Save’ when you are done.
