Managing follow up visits

Easily follow-up with patients who have already consulted a doctor in your clinic & are required to visit again afterwards.

When a ‘next visit’ is set for a patient, kulcare reminds you of upcoming visit a few days prior to the visit, so you can confirm the follow up and fix appointment time with the patient.

A follow up visit can be set from either the queue or the prescription

Set a patient follow up from the queue:

  1. Click ‘Queueon the left menu
  2. Click on the three dots to the right of the patient’s status
  3. Select “Next visit” from the drop down list.
  4. Set a number and the frequency – days/weeks/months. e.g. 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months.
  5. Click “Save”.

Set a patient follow up from a prescription:

  1. Click ‘Queueon the left menu
  2. Click on the patient name
  3. Click on the ‘Prescription’ section
  4. Select “Next visit” from the list below.
  5. Set a number and the frequency – days/weeks/months. e.g. 3 days, 3 weeks or 3 months.
  6. Click “Save”.
A follow up is only an intended visit & not an appointment. It will not show in your daily schedule unless confirmed.
kulcare sends a SMS reminder to the patient to confirm their follow up with the clinic one day prior, so they can contact you back.

To view the upcoming follow up visits,

  1. Click ‘Follow Upson the left menu
  2. You will see a list of follow up visits required for patients.
  3. You can confirm the visit time with the patients directly
  4. Select “Confirm” icon to book an appointment for the patient, or cancel to remove the follow up visit from showing up.
